Privacy policy & cookies
Last updated: 14 June 2026
This policy explains how FS-Portal.eu (the “Service”) processes personal data and uses cookies and similar technologies. Where required by law or where you give consent (e.g. marketing cookies), the rules below apply accordingly.
1. General
FS-Portal.eu is an informational catalog of Farming Simulator mods with links to external source portals. We do not host mod files for download on our own infrastructure — downloads happen on third-party sites. This document is for information only and does not replace legal advice. You have the rights described later in this policy.
2. Data controller & contact
The controller of personal data within the meaning of the GDPR is the entity operating FS-Portal.eu (the owner/operator of the domain and infrastructure). Technical development and maintenance may be provided by DevStudio.it — for technical matters you can contact kontakt@devstudioit.com or use the form on https://devstudioit.com/ . For privacy-related requests to the Service controller, use the contact method published on the Service (e.g. footer or imprint).
3. Data we may process
Depending on how you use the Service, we may process: • technical data and server logs (e.g. IP address, timestamp, browser type, requested URL, response code) — for security, diagnostics and abuse prevention; • settings related to UI language (cookies or equivalent) — to run the Service according to your preferences; • identifiers stored in your browser after you consent to cookies (e.g. localStorage) — to remember your cookie choice; • if you use an administrative panel, additional authentication/audit data — only as needed for admin features. Content retrieved from external portals (descriptions, images) is shown for catalog purposes; when you leave for a third-party site, their policies apply.
4. Purposes & legal bases
We process data for: • providing the Service, session and preferences (e.g. language) — Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests: operating the website) and, for strictly necessary cookies, in line with ePrivacy rules on storing/accessing information on your device; • IT security, logs, abuse prevention — Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; • analytics or marketing, if implemented — Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent), which you can withdraw at any time without affecting prior lawful processing; • handling enquiries — Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR depending on the case.
6. External links, third-party content & ads
External mod portals have their own policies. Google AdSense may use cookies for ad delivery and measurement after consent. Manage Google ads: https://adssettings.google.com/ . Google privacy: https://policies.google.com/privacy .
7. Retention & recipients
Server logs are kept for a technically and legally necessary period (often days to weeks, unless a longer period is required by law or for defending claims). Cookie lifetimes depend on type: session cookies expire when the session ends; persistent cookies follow tool/browser settings. IT subprocessors (hosting, database, CDN, email) may process data only under GDPR Art. 28 agreements, as needed to provide the service.
8. Your rights
You may have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability (where applicable), objection to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, and to withdraw consent at any time (where processing is consent-based). You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in the EEA: your local DPA).
10. Google Analytics
After consent we load Google Analytics 4 (G-S8KFT701PJ) for traffic statistics. Withdraw consent via the cookie banner to stop loading the script on future visits.
11. Changes
We update this policy when features or laws change. The date at the top shows the last material update.
