Editorial standards

Updated: June 2026

FS Portal is a multilingual mod catalog for Farming Simulator 25 and 22. This page explains what we write ourselves, what stays with mod authors, and why Google AdSense ads appear only on editorial pages.

What FS Portal writes

Our original text lives on the homepage, in guides, category intros, FS25/FS22 hubs, this page, and the short catalog notes on mod detail pages.

That includes install hints, explanations about downloading from the author, community ratings and visitor comments — not copied mod descriptions.

We keep expanding these editorial areas. Guides and help articles are the core of our unique value.

What stays with the author

Titles, screenshots, long descriptions, changelogs and mod files come from creators and source portals (ModHub, KingMods, LS-Portal, etc.).

FS Portal does not copy long author text into the HTML of our mod pages. We link to the source page for the full description instead.

The download button sends you only to the official source; we do not host mod archives.

Why this matters

Search engines and ad networks (including Google AdSense) reject sites that republish third-party content without substantial added value.

Therefore we monetize only pages that are mostly our own writing: guides (/guides), this editorial standards page (/editorial), and about (/about) — not the homepage, catalog lists, categories or mod detail pages.

Mod detail pages are marked noindex and focus on navigation, ratings and linking out to authors — without ads.

Community and quality

Visitors can rate and comment on mods — that is user-generated content, not editorial review.

Report wrong or outdated listings to kontakt@devstudioit.com with the mod URL.

Automated imports refresh metadata twice daily; guides and category copy are maintained editorially.
