Most issues come from wrong paths, double-nested ZIP files or two mods patching the same game file.
Mod missing in menu
modDesc.xml must sit in mods/ModName/, not mods/ModName/ModName/.
Unextracted ZIP files are often ignored on PC — extract first.
Crash on launch
Disable all mods, launch, enable one by one to find conflicts.
Outdated scripts after a game patch cause instant crashes — update or remove them.
Pink textures
Usually missing DLC or dependencies — read the author requirements.
Beta builds may ship placeholders — switch to a stable release.
